난민법 시행령 제8조(통역)

① 법무부장관은 법 제14조에 따라 외국어에 능통하고 난민통역 업무 수행에 적합하다고 인정되는 사람으로서 법무부장관이 정하는 교육과정을 마친 사람(이하 "난민전문통역인"이라 한다)으로 하여금 난민신청자 면접 과정에서 통역하게 하여야 한다.

② 법무부장관은 난민신청자가 요청하는 경우에는 같은 성(性)의 난민전문통역인으로 하여금 통역하게 하여야 한다.

③ 제1항 및 제2항에도 불구하고 난민신청자가 사용하는 언어에 능통한 난민전문통역인이 없거나 긴박한 경우에는 다음 각 호의 방법으로 통역하게 할 수 있다.

④ 법무부장관은 난민신청자에 대한 통역을 담당한 사람에게 법무부장관이 정하는 바에 따라 수당을 지급할 수 있다.
