다문화가족지원법 제12조(다문화가족지원센터의 설치ㆍ운영 등)

① 국가와 지방자치단체는 다문화가족지원센터(이하 "지원센터"라 한다)를 설치ㆍ운영할 수 있다.

② 국가 또는 지방자치단체는 지원센터의 설치ㆍ운영을 대통령령으로 정하는 법인이나 단체에 위탁할 수 있다.

(2) The^ð더 State스테잇 or오 a어 local로우클 government거^v버먼트 may메이 entrust엔트^r러스트 the^ð디 establishment이스태블리시먼트 and앤드 operation아퍼^r레이션 of어^v브 a어 support서포트 center센터 to투 a어 corporation코퍼^r레이션 or오 organization오거너제이션 prescribed프^r리스크^r라이브드 by바이 Presidential프^r레저덴실 Decree.디크^r리

③ 국가 또는 지방자치단체 아닌 자가 지원센터를 설치ㆍ운영하고자 할 때에는 미리 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장(자치구의 구청장을 말한다. 이하 같다)의 지정을 받아야 한다.

④ 지원센터는 다음 각 호의 업무를 수행한다. <개정 2020.5.19>

⑤ 지원센터에는 다문화가족에 대한 교육ㆍ상담 등의 업무를 수행하기 위하여 관련 분야에 대한 학식과 경험을 가진 전문인력을 두어야 한다.

(5) A어 support서포트 center센터 shall섈 have해^v브 professional프^r러^f페셔늘 staff스태^f프 with위^ð드 knowledge날러지 and앤드 experience익스피^r리언스 in인 the^ð더 relevant^r렐러^v번트 fields^f필즈 to투 carry캐^r리 out아웃 education,에저케이션 counseling,카운설링 and앤드 similar시멀러 work워크 for^f포 multicultural멀티컬처^r럴 families.^f패멀리즈

⑥ 국가와 지방자치단체는 제3항에 따라 지정한 지원센터에 대하여 예산의 범위에서 제4항 각 호의 업무를 수행하는 데에 필요한 비용 및 지원센터의 운영에 드는 비용의 전부 또는 일부를 보조할 수 있다. <개정 2016.3.2>

(6) The^ð더 State스테잇 and앤드 local로우클 governments거^v버먼츠 may,메이 within위^ð딘 the^ð더 limits리멋츠 of어^v브 their^ð데어 budgets,버짓츠 subsidize서브시다이즈 all올 or오 part파트 of어^v브 the^ð더 costs카스츠 needed니디드 for^f포 a어 support서포트 center센터 designated데지그네이티드 under언더 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (3) to투 carry캐^r리 out아웃 the^ð더 work워크 under언더 the^ð더 subparagraphs서브패^r러그^r래^f프스 of어^v브 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (4) and앤드 the^ð더 costs카스츠 of어^v브 operating아퍼^r레이팅 the^ð더 support서포트 center.센터

⑦ 제1항, 제2항 및 제3항에 따른 지원센터의 설치ㆍ운영 기준, 위탁ㆍ지정 기간 및 절차 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정하고, 제5항에 따른 전문인력의 기준 등에 필요한 사항은 성평등가족부령으로 정한다. <개정 2025.10.1>
