③ 보험회사는 보험계약의 체결 시부터 보험금 지급 시까지의 주요 과정을 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 일반보험계약자에게 설명하여야 한다. 다만, 일반보험계약자가 설명을 거부하는 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다.
