소비자기본법 제39조(임원의 직무)

①원장은 한국소비자원을 대표하고 한국소비자원의 업무를 총괄한다.

②부원장은 원장을 보좌하며, 원장이 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없는 경우에 그 직무를 대행한다.

(2) The^ð더 Vice^v바이스 President프^r레저덴트 shall섈 assist어시스트 the^ð더 President프^r레저덴트 and앤드 shall섈 act액트 on안 the^ð더 President's프^r레저덴츠 behalf비해^f프 where웨어 the^ð더 President프^r레저덴트 is이즈 unable어네이블 to투 perform퍼^f폼 duties두티즈 for^f포 unavoidable어너^v보이더블 reasons.^r리즌즈

③소장은 원장의 지휘를 받아 제51조제1항의 규정에 따라 설치되는 소비자안전센터의 업무를 총괄하며, 원장ㆍ부원장 및 소장이 아닌 이사는 정관이 정하는 바에 따라 한국소비자원의 업무를 분장한다.

④원장ㆍ부원장이 모두 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없는 때에는 상임이사ㆍ비상임이사의 순으로 정관이 정하는 순서에 따라 그 직무를 대행한다.

⑤감사는 한국소비자원의 업무 및 회계를 감사한다.
