아동복지법 제45조(아동보호전문기관의 설치 등)

② 지방자치단체는 학대받은 아동의 치료, 아동학대의 재발 방지 등 사례관리 및 아동학대예방을 담당하는 아동보호전문기관을 시ㆍ도 및 시ㆍ군ㆍ구에 1개소 이상 두어야 한다. 다만, 시ㆍ도지사는 관할 구역의 아동 수 및 지리적 요건을 고려하여 조례로 정하는 바에 따라 둘 이상의 시ㆍ군ㆍ구를 통합하여 하나의 아동보호전문기관을 설치ㆍ운영할 수 있다. <개정 2014.1.28, 2019.1.15, 2020.4.7>
