Emergency Medical Service Act, Article 45 (Prohibition on Use for Other Purposes)

① 구급차등은 다음 각 호의 용도 외에는 사용할 수 없다.

② 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 제1항 또는 제44조의2제2항을 위반한 구급차등의 운용자에 대하여는 그 운용의 정지를 명하거나 구급차등의 등록기관의 장에게 해당 구급차등의 말소등록을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 말소등록을 요청받은 등록기관의 장은 해당 구급차등에 대한 등록을 말소하여야 한다. <개정 2013.6.4>

③ 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 관할 구역에서 운용되는 구급차의 제1항에 따른 용도 외의 사용 여부를 확인하기 위하여 필요한 경우 시ㆍ도경찰청장 또는 경찰서장에게 구급차의 교통법규 위반사항 확인을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청을 받은 시ㆍ도경찰청장 또는 경찰서장은 정당한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다. <신설 2017.4.18, 2020.12.22>
