저작권법 제55조(등록의 절차 등)

①제53조 및 제54조에 따른 등록은 위원회가 저작권등록부(프로그램의 경우에는 프로그램등록부를 말한다. 이하 같다)에 기록함으로써 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2009.4.22, 2020.2.4>

②위원회는 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에는 신청을 반려할 수 있다. 다만, 신청의 흠결이 보정될 수 있는 경우에 신청인이 그 신청을 한 날에 이를 보정하였을 때에는 그러하지 아니하다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2020.2.4>

③ 제2항에 따라 등록신청이 반려된 경우에 그 등록을 신청한 자는 반려된 날부터 1개월 이내에 위원회에 이의를 신청할 수 있다. <신설 2020.2.4>

④ 위원회는 제3항에 따른 이의신청을 받았을 때에는 신청을 받은 날부터 1개월 이내에 심사하여 그 결과를 신청인에게 통지하여야 한다. <신설 2020.2.4>

⑤ 위원회는 제2항에 따른 반려처분에 대한 이의신청을 각하 또는 기각하는 결정을 한 때에는 신청인에게 행정심판 또는 행정소송을 제기할 수 있다는 취지를 이의신청 결과를 통지할 때 함께 알려야 한다. <신설 2020.2.4, 2023.5.16>

⑥위원회는 제1항에 따라 저작권등록부에 기록한 등록 사항에 대하여 등록공보를 발행하거나 정보통신망에 게시하여야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2020.2.4>

⑦ 위원회는 저작권등록부의 열람 또는 사본 발급을 신청하는 자가 있는 경우에는 이를 열람하게 하거나 그 사본을 내주어야 한다. <신설 2020.2.4>

⑧제1항부터 제7항까지에서 규정한 사항 외에 등록, 등록신청의 반려, 이의신청, 등록공보의 발행 또는 게시, 저작권등록부의 열람 및 사본의 발급 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다. <개정 2020.2.4, 2021.5.18>
