공직선거법 제72조(방송시설주관 후보자연설의 방송)

①텔레비전 및 라디오 방송시설[제70조(放送廣告)제1항의 규정에 의한 방송시설을 말한다. 이하 이 조에서 같다]이 그의 부담으로 제71조(候補者 등의 放送演說)의 규정에 의한 후보자 등의 방송연설외에 선거운동기간중 정당 또는 후보자를 선거인에게 알리기 위하여 후보자(비례대표국회의원선거 및 비례대표지방의회의원선거에 있어서는 그 추천정당이 당해 선거의 후보자중에서 선임한 자를 말한다. 이하 제3항에서 같다)의 연설을 방송하고자 하는 때에는 내용을 편집하지 아니한 상태에서 방송하여야 하며, 선거구단위로 모든 정당 또는 후보자에게 공평하게 하여야 한다. 다만, 정당 또는 후보자가 그 연설을 포기한 때에는 그러하지 아니하다. <개정 1995.4.1, 1997.11.14, 2000.2.16, 2002.3.7, 2004.3.12, 2005.8.4>

②제1항의 규정에 의한 후보자 연설의 방송에 있어서는 청각장애선거인을 위하여 한국수어 또는 자막을 방영할 수 있다. <신설 2000.2.16, 2020.12.29>

③방송시설을 경영 또는 관리하는 자가 제1항의 규정에 의하여 후보자의 연설을 방송하고자 하는 때에는 그 방송일전 2일까지 방송시설명ㆍ방송일시ㆍ소요시간 등을 중앙선거관리위원회규칙이 정하는 바에 따라 관할선거구선거관리위원회에 통보하여야 한다.

④제71조제12항의 규정은 방송시설주관 후보자연설의 방송에 이를 준용한다. <개정 1998.4.30>
