방송법 제35조의5(방송시장경쟁상황평가위원회)

① 방송미디어통신위원회는 방송시장(인터넷 멀티미디어 방송을 포함한다)의 효율적인 경쟁체제 구축과 공정한 경쟁 환경을 조성하기 위하여 방송시장경쟁상황평가위원회를 둔다. <개정 2025.10.1>

(1) The^ð더 Broadcasting,브^r로드캐스팅 Media미디아 and앤드 Communications커뮤너케이션즈 Commission커미션 shall섈 establish이스태블리시 a어 Broadcasting브^r로드캐스팅 Market마킷 Competition캄퍼티션 Assessment어세스먼트 Committee커미티 to투 build빌드 an앤 efficient이^f피션트 competition캄퍼티션 system시스텀 and앤드 create크^r리에잇 a어 fair^f페어 competitive컴페터티^v브 environment인^v바이^r런먼트 in인 the^ð더 broadcasting브^r로드캐스팅 market마킷 (including인클루딩 Internet인터넷 multimedia멀티미디아 broadcasting).브^r로드캐스팅

② 방송시장경쟁상황평가위원회의 위원은 9명으로 하며, 방송미디어통신위원회 위원장이 방송미디어통신위원회의 동의를 받아 위촉한다. <개정 2025.10.1>

③ 방송시장경쟁상황평가위원회는 방송사업자 및 「인터넷 멀티미디어 방송사업법」 제2조제5호에 따른 인터넷 멀티미디어 방송사업자(이하 "인터넷 멀티미디어 방송사업자"라 한다)에 대하여 제1항에 따른 경쟁상황 평가를 위하여 필요한 자료의 제출을 요청할 수 있다. <개정 2015.12.22>

④ 방송미디어통신위원회는 매년 방송시장의 경쟁상황 평가를 실시하고 평가가 종료된 후 3개월 이내에 국회에 보고하여야 한다. <개정 2025.10.1>

⑤ 경쟁상황 평가를 위한 구체적인 평가기준ㆍ절차ㆍ방법, 방송시장경쟁상황평가위원의 구성 및 운영 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
