의료급여법 제12조의2(요양비등수급계좌)

① 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 이 법에 따른 의료급여로 지급되는 현금(이하 "요양비등"이라 한다)을 받는 수급권자의 신청이 있는 경우에는 요양비등을 수급권자 명의의 지정된 계좌(이하 "요양비등수급계좌"라 한다)로 입금하여야 한다. 다만, 정보통신장애나 그 밖에 대통령령으로 정하는 불가피한 사유로 요양비등수급계좌로 이체할 수 없을 때에는 직접 현금으로 지급하는 등 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 요양비등을 지급할 수 있다.

② 요양비등수급계좌가 개설된 금융기관은 요양비등수급계좌에 요양비등만이 입금되도록 하고, 이를 관리하여야 한다.

③ 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 요양비등수급계좌의 신청 방법ㆍ절차와 관리에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
