국민연금법 제23조(가입자 등에 대한 통지 등)

① 국민연금공단은 제14조에 따라 사업장가입자의 자격 취득ㆍ상실에 관한 확인을 한 때와 기준소득월액이 결정되거나 변경된 때에는 이를 그 사업장의 사용자에게 통지하여야 하며, 지역가입자, 임의가입자 또는 임의계속가입자의 자격 취득ㆍ상실에 관한 확인을 한 때와 기준소득월액이 결정되거나 변경된 때에는 이를 그 지역가입자, 임의가입자 또는 임의계속가입자에게 통지하여야 한다.

② 제1항에 따른 통지를 받은 사용자는 이를 해당 사업장가입자 또는 그 자격을 상실한 자에게 통지하되, 그 통지를 받을 자의 소재를 알 수 없어 통지할 수 없는 경우에는 그 뜻을 국민연금공단에 통지하여야 한다.

③ 사용자는 제2항에 따라 사업장가입자 또는 그 자격을 상실한 사람에게 통지를 한 경우에는 그 사실을 확인할 수 있는 서류를 작성하고, 보건복지부령으로 정하는 기간 동안 이를 보관하여야 한다. <신설 2015.1.28>

④ 국민연금공단은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하면 보건복지부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 공고하는 것으로 통지를 갈음할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.1.18, 2015.1.28>
