①시ㆍ군ㆍ구도시계획위원회는 위원장 및 부위원장 각 1인을 포함한 15인 이상 25인 이하의 위원으로 구성한다. 다만, 2 이상의 시ㆍ군 또는 구에 공동으로 시ㆍ군ㆍ구도시계획위원회를 설치하는 경우에는 그 위원의 수를 30인까지로 할 수 있다.

②시ㆍ군ㆍ구도시계획위원회의 위원장은 위원 중에서 해당 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장이 임명 또는 위촉하며, 부위원장은 위원중에서 호선한다. 다만, 2 이상의 시ㆍ군 또는 구에 공동으로 설치하는 시ㆍ군ㆍ구도시계획위원회의 위원장은 당해 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장이 협의하여 정한다. <개정 2005.1.15, 2008.1.8>

⑤ 제1항 및 제3항에도 불구하고 시ㆍ군ㆍ구도시계획위원회 중 대도시에 두는 도시계획위원회는 위원장 및 부위원장 각 1명을 포함한 20명 이상 25명 이하의 위원으로 구성하며, 제3항제3호에 해당하는 위원의 수는 전체 위원의 3분의 2 이상이어야 한다. <신설 2009.7.7>
