국회법 제41조(상임위원장)

① 상임위원회에 위원장(이하 "상임위원장"이라 한다) 1명을 둔다.

② 상임위원장은 제48조제1항부터 제3항까지에 따라 선임된 해당 상임위원 중에서 임시의장 선거의 예에 준하여 본회의에서 선거한다.

(2) The^ð더 standing스탠딩 committee커미티 chairperson체어퍼슨 shall섈 be비 elected일렉티드 at앳 a어 plenary플레너^r리 session세션 from^f프^r럼 among어멍 the^ð더 members멤버즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 relevant^r렐러^v번트 standing스탠딩 committee커미티 selected설렉티드 under언더 Article아터클 48 (1) through^θ쓰^r루 (3), in인 accordance어코든스 with위^ð드 the^ð더 procedure프^r러시저 for^f포 electing일렉팅 the^ð더 Speaker스피커 pro프^r로우 tempore.템포

③ 제2항의 선거는 국회의원 총선거 후 첫 집회일부터 3일 이내에 실시하며, 처음 선출된 상임위원장의 임기가 만료되는 경우에는 그 임기만료일까지 실시한다.

④ 상임위원장의 임기는 상임위원의 임기와 같다.

(4) The^ð더 term텀 of어^v브 office오^f피스 of어^v브 a어 standing스탠딩 committee커미티 chairperson체어퍼슨 shall섈 be비 the^ð더 same세임 as애즈 that^ð댓 of어^v브 standing스탠딩 committee커미티 members.멤버즈

⑤ 상임위원장은 본회의의 동의를 받아 그 직을 사임할 수 있다. 다만, 폐회 중에는 의장의 허가를 받아 사임할 수 있다.
