국회법 제85조(심사기간)

① 의장은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에는 위원회에 회부하는 안건 또는 회부된 안건에 대하여 심사기간을 지정할 수 있다. 이 경우 제1호 또는 제2호에 해당할 때에는 의장이 각 교섭단체 대표의원과 협의하여 해당 호와 관련된 안건에 대해서만 심사기간을 지정할 수 있다.

② 제1항의 경우 위원회가 이유 없이 지정된 심사기간 내에 심사를 마치지 아니하였을 때에는 의장은 중간보고를 들은 후 다른 위원회에 회부하거나 바로 본회의에 부의할 수 있다.
