국회법 제9조(의장ㆍ부의장의 임기)

① 의장과 부의장의 임기는 2년으로 한다. 다만, 국회의원 총선거 후 처음 선출된 의장과 부의장의 임기는 그 선출된 날부터 개시하여 의원의 임기 개시 후 2년이 되는 날까지로 한다.

② 보궐선거로 당선된 의장 또는 부의장의 임기는 전임자 임기의 남은 기간으로 한다.
