금융소비자 보호에 관한 법률 시행령 제44조(과징금의 부과)

① 금융위원회는 법 제58조에 따라 과징금을 부과하는 경우 그 위반행위의 종류, 해당 과징금의 금액 및 이의신청 방법 등을 명시하여 서면으로 알려야 한다.

② 제1항에 따른 통지를 받은 자는 그 통지를 받은 날부터 60일 이내에 금융위원회가 정하여 고시하는 수납기관에 과징금을 납부해야 한다. <개정 2023.12.12>

③ 제2항에 따라 과징금의 납부를 받은 수납기관은 그 납부자에게 영수증을 교부하고, 지체 없이 수납한 사실을 금융위원회에 알려야 한다.

④ 법 제58조제1항에서 "대통령령으로 정하는 기준"이란 다음 각 호의 구분에 따른 과징금의 부과기준을 말한다.

⑤ 제1항부터 제4항까지에서 규정한 사항 외에 과징금의 부과에 필요한 세부 사항은 금융위원회가 정하여 고시한다.
