도로교통법 시행령 제24조(정비불량 자동차등의 운전정지)

①경찰공무원(자치경찰공무원은 제외한다)이 법 제41조제3항 전단에 따라 운전의 일시정지를 명하는 때에는 행정안전부령이 정하는 표지(이하 "정비불량표지"라 한다)를 자동차등의 앞면 창유리에 붙이고, 행정안전부령이 정하는 정비명령서를 교부하여야 한다. <개정 2006.10.19, 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26, 2020.12.31>

③누구든지 제1항에 따라 자동차등에 붙인 정비불량표지를 찢거나 훼손하여 못쓰게 하여서는 아니되며, 제25조에 따른 정비확인을 받지 아니하고는 이를 떼어내지 못한다.
