동물보호법 제4조의2(동물보호의 날)

① 동물의 생명보호 및 복지 증진의 가치를 널리 알리고 사람과 동물이 조화롭게 공존하는 문화를 조성하기 위하여 매년 10월 4일을 동물보호의 날로 한다.
