변호사법 제77조(감독)

① 지방변호사회는 대한변호사협회와 법무부장관의 감독을 받는다.

② 지방변호사회는 총회의 결의 내용을 지체 없이 대한변호사협회와 법무부장관에게 보고하여야 한다.

③ 법무부장관은 제2항의 결의가 법령이나 회칙에 위반된다고 인정하면 대한변호사협회의 장의 의견을 들어 취소할 수 있다.
