보호관찰 등에 관한 법률 제76조(임원 및 그 임기)

① 공단에 이사장 1명을 포함한 15명 이내의 이사와 감사 2명을 둔다. <개정 2014.5.20>

③ 이사는 갱생보호사업에 열성이 있고, 학식과 덕망이 있는 사람 중에서 이사장의 제청에 의하여 법무부장관이 임명하거나 위촉하며, 임기는 3년으로 하되 연임할 수 있다. 다만, 공무원인 이사의 임기는 그 직위에 있는 동안으로 한다.
