사립학교법 제54조(임용에 관한 보고 및 해임 등의 요구)

① 각급 학교의 교원 임용권자는 교원을 임용(각급 학교의 장으로서 임기 만료로 해임된 경우는 제외한다)하였을 때에는 임용한 날부터 7일 이내에 관할청에 보고하여야 한다. <개정 2020.12.22>

③ 관할청은 사립학교의 교원이 이 법에 규정된 면직 사유 및 징계 사유에 해당할 때에는 해당 교원의 임용권자에게 해임 또는 징계를 요구할 수 있다. 이 경우 해임 또는 징계를 요구받은 임용권자는 특별한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다. <개정 2020.12.22>
