소비자기본법 제33조(설립)

①소비자권익 증진시책의 효과적인 추진을 위하여 한국소비자원을 설립한다.

③한국소비자원은 공정거래위원회의 승인을 얻어 필요한 곳에 그 지부를 설치할 수 있다.

④한국소비자원은 그 주된 사무소의 소재지에서 설립등기를 함으로써 성립한다.
