소비자기본법 제83조의2(민감정보 및 고유식별정보의 처리)

① 공정거래위원회는 종합지원시스템을 통하여 소비자 피해의 예방 및 구제를 위한 사무를 수행하기 위하여 불가피한 경우 「개인정보 보호법」 제23조에 따른 건강에 관한 정보(의료분쟁조정과 관련된 정보에 한정한다. 이하 같다)나 같은 법 제24조에 따른 고유식별정보가 포함된 자료를 처리할 수 있다.

② 제16조의2제7항에 따라 종합지원시스템 운영의 전부 또는 일부를 위탁받은 자는 소비자 피해의 예방 및 구제를 위한 사무를 수행하기 위하여 불가피한 경우 당사자의 동의를 얻어 「개인정보 보호법」 제23조에 따른 건강에 관한 정보나 같은 법 제24조에 따른 고유식별정보가 포함된 자료를 처리할 수 있다.

③ 제1항 및 제2항에 따라 「개인정보 보호법」 제23조에 따른 건강에 관한 정보나 같은 법 제24조에 따른 고유식별정보가 포함된 자료를 처리할 때에는 해당 정보를 「개인정보 보호법」에 따라 보호하여야 한다.
