Food Sanitation Act, Article 58 (Organization and Operation of the Deliberative Committee)

① 심의위원회는 위원장 1명과 부위원장 2명을 포함한 100명 이내의 위원으로 구성한다. <신설 2011.8.4>

② 심의위원회의 위원은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사람 중에서 식품의약품안전처장이 임명하거나 위촉한다. 다만, 제3호의 사람을 전체 위원의 3분의 1 이상 위촉하고, 제2호와 제4호의 사람을 합하여 전체 위원의 3분의 1 이상 위촉하여야 한다. <신설 2011.8.4, 2013.3.23>

③ 심의위원회 위원의 임기는 2년으로 하되, 공무원인 위원은 그 직위에 재직하는 기간 동안 재임한다. 다만, 위원이 궐위된 경우 그 보궐위원의 임기는 전임위원 임기의 남은 기간으로 한다. <신설 2011.8.4>
