자동차관리법 제12조의2(이해관계인의 등록원부 발급신청)

등록원부에 기재된 이해관계인은 해당 자동차의 이전등록이 있는 경우 시ㆍ도지사에게 등록원부 또는 초본을 열람 또는 발급 신청을 할 수 있으며 신청을 받은 시ㆍ도지사는 이에 응하여야 한다.
