재난 및 안전관리 기본법 제17조(지역대책본부장의 권한 등)

① 지역대책본부장은 재난의 수습을 효율적으로 하기 위하여 해당 시ㆍ도 또는 시ㆍ군ㆍ구를 관할 구역으로 하는 제3조제5호나목에 따른 재난관리책임기관의 장에게 행정 및 재정상의 조치나 그 밖에 필요한 업무협조를 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청을 받은 재난관리책임기관의 장은 특별한 사유가 없으면 요청에 따라야 한다. <개정 2013.8.6>

② 지역대책본부장은 재난의 수습을 위하여 필요하다고 인정하면 해당 시ㆍ도 또는 시ㆍ군ㆍ구의 전부 또는 일부를 관할 구역으로 하는 제3조제5호나목에 따른 재난관리책임기관의 장에게 소속 직원의 파견을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청을 받은 재난관리책임기관의 장은 특별한 사유가 없으면 즉시 요청에 따라야 한다. <개정 2013.8.6>

③ 지역대책본부장은 재난으로 인하여 생명ㆍ신체 및 재산에 대한 피해를 입은 사람과 그 가족에게 지원되는 정보를 신속하게 제공ㆍ안내하기 위하여 필요한 경우에는 관할 구역의 긴급구조기관의 장 및 지원실시기관의 장에게 소속 직원의 파견을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청을 받은 긴급구조기관의 장은 수색ㆍ구조에 지장을 주지 아니하는 범위에서 소속 직원을 파견하여야 하고, 지원실시기관의 장은 특별한 사유가 없으면 협조하여야 한다. <신설 2025.4.1>

④ 제15조제4항, 이 조 제2항 및 제3항에 따라 지역대책본부에 파견된 직원은 지역대책본부장의 지휘에 따라 재난의 수습에 필요한 소속 기관의 업무를 성실히 수행하여야 하며, 재난의 수습이 끝날 때까지 지역대책본부에서 상근하여야 한다. <개정 2013.8.6, 2025.4.1>
