정치자금법 제7조(후원회의 등록신청 등)

①후원회의 대표자는 당해 후원회지정권자의 지정을 받은 날부터 14일 이내에 그 지정서를 첨부하여 관할 선거관리위원회에 등록신청을 하여야 한다.

②후원회의 등록신청사항은 다음 각 호와 같다.

③ 후원회를 둔 후원회지정권자는 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우 각 호에서 정하는 바에 따라 기존의 후원회를 다른 후원회로 지정할 수 있다. 이 경우 그 대통령후보자등ㆍ대통령선거경선후보자ㆍ당대표경선후보자등 또는 지방자치단체장후보자등의 후원회의 대표자는 후원회지정권자의 지정을 받은 날부터 14일 이내에 그 지정서와 회인(會印) 및 그 대표자 직인의 인영을 첨부하여 관할 선거관리위원회에 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2024.2.20>

④제2항의 규정에 의한 등록신청사항 중 제1호 내지 제5호에 규정된 사항 및 제3항의 규정에 의한 회인(會印) 및 그 대표자 직인의 인영에 변경이 생긴 때에는 후원회의 대표자는 14일 이내에 관할 선거관리위원회에 변경등록신청 또는 신고를 하여야 한다.

⑤관할 선거관리위원회는 제1항 또는 제4항의 규정에 의한 등록신청을 접수한 날부터 7일 이내에 등록을 수리하고 등록증을 교부하여야 한다.
