주민등록법 시행령 제12조(이미지 주민등록표에 대한 주민등록사무의 처리)

① 제11조제1항에 따라 이미지 전산화된 주민등록표(이하 "이미지주민등록표"라 한다)는 행정안전부장관의 승인이 있는 때부터 수작업에 따른 주민등록표로 본다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

② 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장은 이미지주민등록표와 관련된 주민등록사무를 주민등록전산정보센터를 이용하여 처리할 수 있으며, 그에 관한 구체적인 사항은 행정안전부장관이 정한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>
