지방자치법 제68조(전문위원)

① 위원회에는 위원장과 위원의 자치입법활동을 지원하기 위하여 지방의회의원이 아닌 전문지식을 가진 위원(이하 "전문위원"이라 한다)을 둔다.

② 전문위원은 위원회에서 의안과 청원 등의 심사, 행정사무감사 및 조사, 그 밖의 소관 사항과 관련하여 검토보고 및 관련 자료의 수집ㆍ조사ㆍ연구를 한다.

(2) Committee커미티 specialists스페셜러스츠 shall섈 prepare프^r리페어 review^r리^v뷰 reports^r리포츠 and앤드 collect,컬렉트 examine이그재민 and앤드 study스터디 related^r릴레이티드 materials머티^r리얼즈 concerning컨서닝 the^ð디 examination이그재머네이션 of어^v브 bills빌즈 and앤드 petitions,퍼티션즈 the^ð디 audit오딧 and앤드 investigation인^v베스터게이션 of어^v브 administrative어드미너스트^r레이티^v브 affairs,어^f페어즈 and앤드 other어^ð더 matters매터즈 under언더 the^ð더 committee's커미티즈 jurisdiction.주^r러스딕션

③ 위원회에 두는 전문위원의 직급과 수 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
