지방자치법 제70조(위원회의 개회)

① 위원회는 본회의의 의결이 있거나 지방의회의 의장 또는 위원장이 필요하다고 인정할 때, 재적위원 3분의 1 이상이 요구할 때에 개회한다.

② 폐회 중에는 지방자치단체의 장도 지방의회의 의장 또는 위원장에게 이유서를 붙여 위원회 개회를 요구할 수 있다.
