출입국관리법 시행령 제41조(외국인등록증의 발급)

① 등록외국인의 체류지 관할 청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 법 제33조에 따라 외국인등록증을 발급하는 때에는 그 사실을 외국인등록증 발급대장에 적어야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8, 2022.12.27>

② 체류지 관할 청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 법 제33조제1항 단서에 따라 외국인등록증을 발급하지 아니한 17세 미만의 외국인에 대해서는 여권에 외국인등록번호 스티커를 붙여야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8>

③ 법 제33조제2항에 따라 외국인등록증 발급을 신청하려면 외국인등록증 발급신청서에 여권과 사진 1장을 첨부하여 체류지 관할 청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장에게 제출하여야 한다. <개정 2016.9.29, 2018.5.8>

④ 외국인등록증의 재질 및 규격, 외국인등록증에 기재할 사항과 사용할 직인 등 필요한 사항은 법무부장관이 정한다.
