금융소비자 보호에 관한 법률 제48조(금융상품판매업자등에 대한 감독)

① 금융위원회는 금융소비자의 권익을 보호하고 건전한 거래질서를 위하여 금융상품판매업자등이 이 법 또는 이 법에 따른 명령이나 처분을 적절히 준수하는지를 감독하여야 한다.

② 제12조에 따라 등록을 한 금융상품자문업자는 매 사업연도 개시일부터 3개월간ㆍ6개월간ㆍ9개월간 및 12개월간의 업무보고서를 작성하여 각각의 기간 경과 후 45일의 범위에서 대통령령으로 정하는 기간 내에 업무보고서를 금융위원회에 제출하여야 한다.

③ 제12조에 따른 요건을 갖추어 등록한 금융상품판매업자등 중 대통령령으로 정하는 자는 등록요건 중 대통령령으로 정하는 사항이 변동된 경우 1개월 이내에 그 변동사항을 금융위원회에 보고하여야 한다.

④ 제2항에 따른 업무보고서의 기재사항 및 제3항에 따른 변경보고의 방법ㆍ절차, 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
