민사집행법 제212조(어음 등의 제시의무)

①집행관은 어음ㆍ수표 그 밖의 금전의 지급을 목적으로 하는 유가증권(이하 "어음등"이라 한다)으로서 일정한 기간 안에 인수 또는 지급을 위한 제시 또는 지급의 청구를 필요로 하는 것을 압류하였을 경우에 그 기간이 개시되면 채무자에 갈음하여 필요한 행위를 하여야 한다.

②집행관은 미완성 어음등을 압류한 경우에 채무자에게 기한을 정하여 어음등에 적을 사항을 보충하도록 최고하여야 한다.
