소비자기본법 제61조(조정위원회의 구성)

①조정위원회는 위원장 1명을 포함한 150명 이내의 위원으로 구성하며, 위원장을 포함한 5명은 상임으로 하고, 나머지는 비상임으로 한다. <개정 2017.10.31>

②위원은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 자 중에서 대통령령이 정하는 바에 따라 원장의 제청에 의하여 공정거래위원회위원장이 임명 또는 위촉한다.

(2) Members멤버즈 shall섈 be비 appointed어포인티드 or오 commissioned커미션드 by바이 the^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 of어^v브 the^ð더 Fair^f페어 Trade트^r레이드 Commission,커미션 on안 the^ð더 recommendation^r레커먼데이션 of어^v브 the^ð더 President프^r레저덴트 and앤드 as애즈 prescribed프^r리스크^r라이브드 by바이 Presidential프^r레저덴실 Decree,디크^r리 from^f프^r럼 among어멍 persons퍼슨즈 who후 fall^f폴 under언더 any에니 of어^v브 the^ð더 following:^f팔로잉

③위원장은 상임위원 중에서 공정거래위원회위원장이 임명한다.

(3) The^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 shall섈 be비 appointed어포인티드 by바이 the^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 of어^v브 the^ð더 Fair^f페어 Trade트^r레이드 Commission커미션 from^f프^r럼 among어멍 the^ð더 standing스탠딩 members.멤버즈

④위원장이 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없는 때에는 위원장이 아닌 상임위원이 위원장의 직무를 대행하고, 위원장이 아닌 상임위원이 부득이한 사유로 위원장의 직무를 대행할 수 없는 때에는 공정거래위원회위원장이 지정하는 위원이 그 직무를 대행한다.

⑤위원의 임기는 3년으로 하며, 연임할 수 있다.

(5) The^ð더 term텀 of어^v브 office오^f피스 of어^v브 members멤버즈 shall섈 be비 three^θ쓰^r리 years,이어즈 and앤드 they^ð데이 may메이 be비 reappointed.^r리어포인티드

⑥조정위원회의 업무를 효율적으로 수행하기 위하여 조정위원회에 분야별 전문위원회를 둘 수 있다.

⑦제6항의 규정에 따른 전문위원회의 구성 및 운영에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
