Motor Vehicle Management Act, Article 24-2 (Suspension of Operation of Motor Vehicles, etc.)

① 자동차는 제2조제3호에 따른 자동차사용자가 운행하여야 한다.

2. 공소청(광역공소청, 지방공소청 및 지방공소청 지청을 포함한다. 이하 이 호에서 같다) 또는 수사기관의 장의 요청. 다만, 공소청 또는 수사기관의 장이 제2조제3호에 따른 자동차사용자가 아닌 자가 자동차를 운행하는 사실을 확인한 경우로 한정한다.

③ 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 제2항에 따른 운행정지를 명하는 경우 다음 각 호의 사항을 이행하여야 한다.

⑤ 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 제4항에 따른 공매에 대하여 전문지식이 필요하거나 그 밖에 특수한 사정으로 직접 공매하는 것이 적당하지 아니하다고 인정하는 경우에는 「한국자산관리공사 설립 등에 관한 법률」에 따라 설립된 한국자산관리공사에 공매를 대행하게 할 수 있다. 이 경우 공매는 시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장이 한 것으로 본다. <개정 2019.11.26>
