재난 및 안전관리 기본법 제55조(재난대비능력 보강)

① 국가와 지방자치단체는 재난관리에 필요한 재난관리자원의 확보ㆍ확충, 통신망의 설치ㆍ정비 등 긴급구조능력을 보강하기 위하여 노력하고, 필요한 재정상의 조치를 마련하여야 한다. <개정 2023.1.17>

② 긴급구조기관의 장은 긴급구조활동을 신속하고 효과적으로 할 수 있도록 긴급구조현장지휘대 등 긴급구조체제를 구축하고, 상시 소속 긴급구조요원 및 장비의 출동태세를 유지하여야 한다. <개정 2025.1.7>

③ 긴급구조업무와 재난관리책임기관(행정기관 외의 기관만 해당한다)의 재난관리업무에 종사하는 사람은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 긴급구조에 관한 교육을 받아야 한다. 다만, 다른 법령에 따라 긴급구조에 관한 교육을 받은 경우에는 이 법에 따른 교육을 받은 것으로 본다.

⑤ 긴급구조기관의 장은 재난이 발생한 경우 사상자의 신속한 분류ㆍ응급처치 및 이송을 위하여 「의료법」 제3조에 따른 의료기관 및 「응급의료에 관한 법률」 제2조에 따른 응급의료기관등에 현장 응급의료에 필요한 재난관리자원 등에 관한 자료를 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 자료의 요청을 받은 관계 기관의 장은 정당한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다. <신설 2016.1.7, 2023.1.17>
