저작권법 제33조(시각장애인등을 위한 복제 등)

①누구든지 공표된 저작물을 시각장애인과 독서에 장애가 있는 사람으로서 대통령령으로 정하는 사람(이하 "시각장애인등"이라 한다)을 위하여 「점자법」 제3조에 따른 점자로 변환하여 복제ㆍ배포할 수 있다. <개정 2023.8.8>

②시각장애인등의 복리증진을 목적으로 하는 시설 중 대통령령으로 정하는 시설(해당 시설의 장을 포함한다)은 영리를 목적으로 하지 아니하고 시각장애인등의 이용에 제공하기 위하여 공표된 저작물등에 포함된 문자 및 영상 등의 시각적 표현을 시각장애인등이 인지할 수 있는 대체자료로 변환하여 이를 복제ㆍ배포ㆍ공연 또는 공중송신할 수 있다. <개정 2009.3.25, 2021.5.18, 2023.8.8>

③ 시각장애인등과 그의 보호자(보조자를 포함한다. 이하 이 조 및 제33조의2에서 같다)는 공표된 저작물등에 적법하게 접근하는 경우 시각장애인등의 개인적 이용을 위하여 그 저작물등에 포함된 문자 및 영상 등의 시각적 표현을 시각장애인등이 인지할 수 있는 대체자료로 변환하여 이를 복제할 수 있다. <신설 2023.8.8>
