지방자치법 제9조(사무소의 소재지)

① 지방자치단체의 사무소 소재지와 자치구가 아닌 구 및 읍ㆍ면ㆍ동의 사무소 소재지는 종전과 같이 하고, 이를 변경하거나 새로 설정하려면 지방자치단체의 조례로 정한다. 이 경우 면ㆍ동은 행정면ㆍ행정동(行政洞)을 말한다.

② 제1항의 사항을 조례로 정할 때에는 그 지방의회의 재적의원 과반수의 찬성이 있어야 한다.
