공직선거법 제186조(투표지ㆍ개표록 및 선거록 등의 보관)

구ㆍ시ㆍ군선거관리위원회는 투표지ㆍ투표함ㆍ투표록ㆍ개표록ㆍ선거록 기타 선거에 관한 모든 서류를, 시ㆍ도선거관리위원회는 집계록 및 선거록 기타 선거에 관한 모든 서류를, 중앙선거관리위원회는 선거록 기타 선거에 관한 모든 서류를 그 당선인의 임기중 각각 보관하여야 한다. 다만, 제219조(選擧訴請)ㆍ제222조(選擧訴訟) 및 제223조(當選訴訟)의 규정에 의한 선거에 관한 쟁송이 제기되지 아니하거나 계속되지 아니하게 된 때에는 중앙선거관리위원회규칙이 정하는 바에 따라 그 보존기간을 단축할 수 있다. <개정 1995.4.1, 2000.2.16, 2002.3.7>
