국가공무원법 제75조(처분사유 설명서의 교부)

① 공무원에 대하여 징계처분등을 할 때나 강임ㆍ휴직ㆍ직위해제 또는 면직처분을 할 때에는 그 처분권자 또는 처분제청권자는 처분사유를 적은 설명서를 교부(交付)하여야 한다. 다만, 본인의 원(願)에 따른 강임ㆍ휴직 또는 면직처분은 그러하지 아니하다. <개정 2010.3.22, 2018.10.16>

② 처분권자 또는 처분제청권자는 피해자가 요청하는 경우 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사유로 처분사유 설명서를 교부할 때에는 그 징계처분결과를 피해자에게 함께 통보하여야 한다. <신설 2018.10.16, 2023.4.11, 2024.12.31>
