국민투표법 제83조(천재지변 등으로 인한 재투표)

① 중앙선거관리위원회는 천재지변이나 그 밖의 부득이한 사유로 어느 투표구의 투표를 실시하지 못하였거나, 투표함의 분실이나 멸실 등의 사유가 발생하면 그 투표구의 투표를 다시 실시한 후 투표인수, 투표수, 찬성 또는 반대별 투표수, 무효투표수를 계산ㆍ공표하고 이를 대통령과 국회의장에게 통지하여야 한다.

② 제1항에 따른 재투표가 국민투표의 결과에 영향을 미칠 우려가 없다고 인정되는 경우 이를 실시하지 아니한다.

③ 제1항에 따른 재투표는 그 원인이 제거된 날부터 20일 이내에 실시하되, 중앙선거관리위원회는 재투표일 전 7일까지 재투표일을 공고하여야 한다.

④ 제1항에 따른 재투표를 실시할 때의 투표운동과 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 중앙선거관리위원회규칙으로 정한다.
