도로교통법 시행령 제17조(견인 등 대행법인등의 지정절차 등)

① 경찰서장 또는 시장등은 제16조에 따른 요건을 갖춘 자 중에서 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 신청을 받아 대행법인등을 지정한다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

② 경찰서장 또는 시장등은 제1항에 따라 대행법인등을 지정하였을 때에는 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 그 내용을 공고하여야 한다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

③ 대행법인등은 차의 견인ㆍ보관 중에 발생하는 손해의 배상을 위하여 1억원의 범위에서 행정안전부령으로 정하는 보험에 가입하거나 보험 가입에 상응하는 필요한 조치를 하여야 한다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

④ 경찰서장 또는 시장등은 대행법인등이 법 제36조제3항에 따른 조치명령을 위반하였을 때에는 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 그 지정을 취소하거나 6개월의 범위에서 대행업무를 정지시킬 수 있다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>
