보호관찰 등에 관한 법률 제16조(보호관찰관)

① 보호관찰소에는 제15조 각 호의 사무를 처리하기 위하여 보호관찰관을 둔다.

② 보호관찰관은 형사정책학, 행형학, 범죄학, 사회사업학, 교육학, 심리학, 그 밖에 보호관찰에 필요한 전문적 지식을 갖춘 사람이어야 한다.
