자동차손해배상 보장법 제24조(계약의 체결 의무)

① 보험회사등은 자동차보유자가 제5조제1항부터 제3항까지의 규정에 따른 보험 또는 공제에 가입하려는 때에는 대통령령으로 정하는 사유가 있는 경우 외에는 계약의 체결을 거부할 수 없다.

② 자동차보유자가 교통사고를 발생시킬 개연성이 높은 경우 등 국토교통부령으로 정하는 사유에 해당하면 제1항에도 불구하고 다수의 보험회사가 공동으로 제5조제1항부터 제3항까지의 규정에 따른 보험 또는 공제의 계약을 체결할 수 있다. 이 경우 보험회사는 자동차보유자에게 공동계약체결의 절차 및 보험료에 대한 안내를 하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>
