학원의 설립ㆍ운영 및 과외교습에 관한 법률 제6조(학원 설립ㆍ운영의 등록)

① 학원을 설립ㆍ운영하려는 자는 제8조에 따른 시설과 설비를 갖추어 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 설립자의 인적사항, 교습과정, 강사명단, 교습비등, 시설ㆍ설비 등을 학원설립ㆍ운영등록신청서에 기재하여 교육감에게 등록하여야 한다. 등록한 사항 중 교습과정, 강사명단, 교습비등, 그 밖에 대통령령으로 정하는 사항을 변경하려는 경우에도 또한 같다. <개정 2011.7.25>

② 숙박시설을 갖춘 학교교과교습학원의 등록은 대통령령으로 정하는 범위에서 관할 지역의 교육여건과 수강생의 안전 및 숙박시설의 필요성 등을 고려하여 시ㆍ도의 조례로 정하는 기준에 맞는 경우에만 할 수 있다.

③ 교육감은 제1항에 따라 등록한 자에게 교육부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 등록증명서를 발급하여야 한다. <신설 2016.5.29>

④ 학원설립ㆍ운영자는 제3항에 따라 발급받은 등록증명서를 학원에 게시하여야 한다. <신설 2016.5.29>

⑤ 학원설립ㆍ운영자가 제3항에 따라 발급받은 등록증명서를 잃어버리거나 그 등록증명서가 못 쓰게 된 경우에는 교육부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 교육감에게 재발급을 신청하여야 한다. <신설 2016.5.29>
