Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act, Article 57 (Composition of the Fair Trade Commission)

① 공정거래위원회는 위원장 1명, 부위원장 1명을 포함하여 11명의 위원으로 구성하며, 그 중 5명은 비상임위원으로 한다. <개정 2026.5.12>

② 공정거래위원회의 위원은 독점규제 및 공정거래 또는 소비자분야에 경험이나 전문지식이 있는 사람으로서 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사람 중에서 위원장과 부위원장은 국무총리의 제청으로 대통령이 임명하고, 그 밖의 위원은 위원장의 제청으로 대통령이 임명하거나 위촉한다. 이 경우 위원장은 국회의 인사청문을 거쳐야 한다.
