Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Employment, etc. of Foreign Workers, Article 22 (Return Cost Insurance and Trusts)

① 외국인근로자는 법 제15조에 따라 근로계약의 효력발생일부터 3개월 이내에 다음 각 호의 요건을 모두 갖춘 보험 또는 신탁(이하 "귀국비용보험등"이라 한다)에 가입하여야 한다. <개정 2014.7.28, 2018.5.8>

3. 보험사업자는 외국인근로자가 제2항에 따라 귀국비용보험등의 일시금을 신청하는 경우 관할 출입국ㆍ외국인청의 장 또는 출입국ㆍ외국인사무소의 장에게 그 출국 여부를 확인한 후 귀국비용보험등의 일시금을 지급하는 것일 것

② 외국인근로자는 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사유가 발생한 경우 귀국비용보험등의 일시금의 지급을 신청할 수 있다.
