자본시장과 금융투자업에 관한 법률 제410조(보고와 검사)

① 금융위원회는 투자자 보호 또는 건전한 거래질서를 위하여 필요하다고 인정되는 경우에는 거래소에 대하여 그 업무 및 재산에 관한 보고 또는 참고가 될 자료의 제출을 명하고, 금융감독원장에게 그 업무ㆍ재산상황ㆍ장부ㆍ서류, 그 밖의 물건을 검사하게 할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29>

② 제1항에 따라 검사를 하는 자는 그 권한을 표시하는 증표를 지니고 관계인에게 내보여야 한다.

③ 금융감독원장은 제1항에 따라 검사를 한 경우에는 그 결과를 금융위원회에 보고하여야 한다. 이 경우 이 법 또는 이 법에 따른 명령이나 처분을 위반한 사실이 있는 때에는 그 처리에 관한 의견서를 첨부하여야 한다.

④ 제419조제9항은 거래소에 대한 검사에 관하여 준용한다.
