공직선거법 제218조의28(재외선거사무의 지원 등)

① 중앙선거관리위원회, 법무부, 경찰청 등은 재외선거관리위원회 또는 재외투표관리관이 행하는 재외선거사무를 지원하고 위법행위 예방 및 자료수집 등을 위하여 필요한 경우에는 공관에 소속 직원을 파견할 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따라 공관에 파견된 중앙선거관리위원회 소속 직원이 제272조의2 또는 「정치자금법」 제52조에 따라 조사를 하는 경우에는 다른 법령에도 불구하고 중앙선거관리위원회의 지휘ㆍ감독을 받는다. 다만, 조사에 착수하는 때에는 조사와 관련하여 공관의 장과 협의하여야 한다.
