마약류 관리에 관한 법률 제2조의2(국가 등의 책임)

① 국가와 지방자치단체는 국민이 마약류 등을 남용하는 것을 예방하고, 마약류 중독자에 대한 치료보호와 사회복귀 촉진을 위하여 연구ㆍ조사 등 필요한 조치를 하고 재원 등을 마련하여야 한다.

② 국가와 지방자치단체는 「청소년 보호법」 제2조제1호의 청소년을 대상으로 한 마약류 중독 예방 교육(이하 "청소년 마약중독예방교육"이라 한다)을 실시하여야 한다.

③ 국가와 지방자치단체는 국민보건 향상과 건강한 사회 조성을 위하여 마약류 중독 등의 폐해 예방을 위한 홍보ㆍ교육ㆍ연구 등 필요한 조치를 하여야 한다.

④ 국가와 지방자치단체는 치료보호 또는 치료감호(「치료감호 등에 관한 법률」 제2조제1항제2호에 따른 치료감호대상자에 관한 경우로 한정한다)가 종료된 사람의 사회복귀 및 재활을 위한 사후관리체계를 구축하여야 한다. <신설 2024.10.22>

⑤ 국민은 마약류 중독자에 대하여 치료의 대상으로 인식하고 건강한 사회구성원으로 자립할 수 있도록 협조하여야 한다. <개정 2024.10.22>
